The Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, M. Stephen Raveendra, IPS., conducted a review meeting with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) officers of Cyberabad along with DCP Crimes, Smt. Rohini Priyadarshini, IPS., DCP, EOW, Smt. Kavitha Dara and Inspectors and staff of Economic Offences Wing at Mini Conference Hall of Cyberabad CP Office.
CP reviewed the formation, nature of cases investigated by the Economic Offences Wing, workflow, and the division of work among the officers at various levels and the cases investigated by each officer.
Important cases investigated by the officers were discussed and reviewed in detail and gave necessary instructions to proceed further in the investigation.
He also reviewed different types of Modus Operandi in Economic Offences Wing and their trends over the years and across the country.
Discussed the Market Intelligence Unit (MIU) and gave specific guidelines to the MIU team in order to function in a professional manner.
CP instructed to take the services of professional experts like chartered accountants, retired bank officials, retired revenue officials and the help of subject experts wherever necessary in order to investigate the cases thoroughly and in a professional manner.
Further interacted with the officers to know the practical problems and assured of providing man power and other amenities as per the requirement.
The meeting concluded with a positive note of encouragement and the staff were motivated to work in a professional and fair manner.
