The High Court and the Chief Justice today ordered the state Government of Andhra Pradesh to answer as to why 144 section was imposed and why police were doing the drill here in Amaravathi.

The women have filed petitions that they were being confined to the houses and not allowed to come out. There is a curfew-like atmosphere in Amaravathi and they are not celebrating Sankranthi.

On the other hand, the YSRC Government is arranging a 3-day assembly session to come up with resolutions on the proposed capitals in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Fireworks between the ruling and the opposition members are expected in the Assembly from 20th.

The LOP Chandrababu has demanded that the CM Jagan must go for a fresh Mandate for changing the capital from Amaravathi. The BJP is also planning the strategy along with Jana Sena to fight against the 3 capitals.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is expected to come to Kakinada to fight against the YSRC. Meanwhile, the protest in Mandhadam has reached the 27nth day. They are not celebrating the festival.

The women are unhappy that the women’s commission has not reached them.
