The High Court has ordered recounting for the Neredmet seat. It may be recalled that the BJP candidate has approached the court as there were votes which were not with swastik mark.

Some ballots had tick mark, finger print and all sorts of markings. The court has ordered and ruled that only swastik mark designated by the SEC should be taken into account.

But the SEC in the eleventh hour has suggested that all kinds of marks should be taken into account. But this is no right and there will be no sanctity for voting.

Now the court has ordered that all the votes should be counted first and the result could be decided. Some boxes are yet to be opened. Now we have to wait for the boxes to be reopened and counted.

There is a lot of resentment against the way the SEC has ordered for the elections without any proper notice and time. The police also has drawn a flak at the way they managed law and order during the elections.

The police took instructions from the MIM and the TRS leaders. They did not arrest the people distributing money openly. They just arrested and released them.

Instead they arrested people for complaining.
