Revanth Reddy is in full control of the situation in the Congress party. V Hanumanth Rao, Jaggareddy and others could not influence Rahul and Sonia Gandhi against the leadership of Revanth.
Now they have announced that Congress will fight the election without any alliance and the tickets will be given to the candidates six months ahead of the elections.
This is good news for the aspirants. There is a talk that Jagga Reddy might opt out of the Congress party and may contest as an independent. The TRS on the other hand is luring the MLA into its fold.
But what happens if Congress joins the National front is the question. There are converts in the Congress party for TRS and that makes all the difference to Congress.
There is every chance that the TRS might finance the Congress candidates and then take them into the fold after winning the elections. It is good for Congress if TRS goes for a snap poll by this year-end.
