Congress Tharoor is the accused in Pushkar’s murder

After a thorough investigation, the police have finally found the accused and it is non-other than her husband in this high profile murder case.

The Delhi Police filed a charge sheet in the death of Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Congress leader Shashi Tharoor. Tharoor has been named as an accused in the case.

The charge sheet was filed before Metropolitan Magistrate Dharmender Singh under sections 498A (husband or his relative subjecting a woman to cruelty) and 306 (abetment of suicide) of the Indian Penal Code.

Pushkar was found dead in a luxury hotel room in New Delhi on January 17, 2014. There are allegations that she has been killed for the sake of property.
