Rebel Congress leaders led Narayanaswamy has alleged that the Congress party has sold tickets for the Karnataka elections. All the contesting candidates have levelled charges that the tickets were sold for huge amounts. This came as a severe set back to the party just before the elections.
Some candidates of the Congress who did not get the seats just joined the BJP and are contesting against the Congress. MP Veerappa Moily and KPCC chief Parameshwar together sold the tickets that is what they said. Karnataka has become very prestigious now and that whoever wins there would be getting the Delhi Gaddi, that is belief.
If BJP loses Karnataka it becomes very difficult for the Modi Government to make a come back in 2019. If Congress wins here then it becomes very easy for them to come back to power in Delhi.
Both the parties are fighting neck to neck and it is not that easy for them to win here. The Congress has a lot of infighting, anti-incumbency and also corruption charges against Siddha Ramaiah. The local Swamys have gone against Rahul and they are supporting the BJP here. The Temple run here is not working for the Congress here. It has boomeranged.
But still, the BJP is not that confident of coming to power.
