YS Sharmila, daughter of the former Chief Minister of combined AP, YSR surprised many by announcing a party in Telangana. She is trying her luck in Telangana politics and named her party YSRTP. She has been saying that she will bring Rajanna Rajyam to the state.

Of late we have been hearing that YS Sharmila is likely to merge her party into the Congress party.
The buzz started with Sharmila meeting DK Shiva Kumar, Karnataka Chief Minister and she wished Rahul Gandhi on his birthday. The debate on the possibility grabbed everyone’s attention.
Amid this, Former Member of the Lok Sabha Chinta Mohan reacted to this and said that there is no possibility of a merger. But Sharmila has not reacted so far over the merger.
It looks like Revanth Reddy the TPCC chief will entertain her as it would be a plus to the party for the coming elections, saying that the daughter of YSR the former CM, and the sister of the present CM is with them.
Sharmila must realize that a big party like BJP is struggling in Telangana and she is having no political space here. Mighty BJP is unable to move BRS, what can Sharmila do is the question.
There are rumors that she is fielded by the BJP with a new party for the division of votes. YSRTP is struggling to survive we can say. She alone cannot survive in politics.
It is better for her to merge with the Congress. Coming to power is just a pipe dream.
