Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and MLC Kavitha Kalvakuntla took part in the polling by casting her vote during the Telangana assembly elections this morning.

She cast her vote at DAV Public School in Banjara Hills. Kavitha is the daughter of KCR the CM of Telangana.

Encouraging ‘urban voters’ to play an active role, the BRS leader appealed to them to exercise their franchise. But the Congress leaders objected to the way she campaigned in the election booth.

This goes against the rules of the elections.

The Congress leaders said that they would make a complaint to the EC on the way Kavitha was violating the election rules by asking the people to vote for the BRS from the compound of the polling booth.

Kavitha after coming out of the election booth said, she was confident that the BRS would make a hattrick in Telangana. She opined that the people want KCR to rule them for the third time.
