The Congress party has almost become Zero in Delhi. The National Party which is more than 100 years old is unable to surge forward. When the people were thinking that Congress was getting revived with the help of regional parties, it has received a severe set back by not getting any seat in Delhi.
But the Congress has helped AAP in reducing the winning chances of BJP here. The Congress has taken the votes of BJP in many of the constituencies and AAP has won with slender margin in many of the seats.
On the other hand the strategy of Prashant Kishor the poll strategist has also helped AAP in a big way. The strategy was to tell the people that they have done their best and there is a lot to be done.
It was like a sincere request to the people in general and it has worked. But the BJP is also happy that they have improved to a little extent when compared to 2014.
Both the BJP and the Congress must make loud thinking as to what went wrong. They have to go for a mid-course correction on the way they are working in the country.
Now the AAP is on an expansion mode to other states.
