Sunriresrs Hyderabad hopes to repeat their inaugural match performance when they clash with Gujrat Lions in their second VIVO IPL 10 encounter at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium Hyderabad.
Roy Henriques was outstanding with his allround show and Warner will prefer him to bat at the same position he batted in the first match. He looked in good touch scoring runs easily against RCB.
It’s good for Sunriresrs that Youvaraj Singh is in terrific form. He played a gem of an innings as Sunriresrs could get past 200 comfortably.
If Warner can show his real form like last year they can be in race again for title. They have a decent bowling attack too and fortunately all are extremely fit.
Gujrat Lions were crushed by KKR in their first match in front of their home crowd the other day and there will be pressure on them.
Their main problem is bowling. They looked mediocre against KKR and they might make couple of changes today to strengthen bowling.
In the other match today KKR take on Mumbai Indians. Ghambir’s strategy of opening with Chris Lynn worked wonders as they toyed with the Gujrat Lions attack, putting on a record opening stand.
Mumbai are going to be without Rayudu, who pulled his hamstring in the first match.
