Sunrisers Hyderabad, the defending champions have done fantastically well at home. And today they are going to meet Delhi Daredevils at the Rajiv Gandhi international stadium, Hyderabad with full of confidence as they have won all the matches played here this season. But Delhi can not be taken lightly as they have got a superb bowling attack and one of the best in this competition. In particular their captain Zaheer Khan has led by example with some fine spells. It is going to be Zaheer vs Warner tonight.
But their batting is still a concern with Billings not showing consistency in the top order. Only Sanju Samson and Rishab Panth have batted well for them, wghile Morris in the lower order played a couple of fine innings. They played Angelo Mathews in the last match and he did not live up to his standards, except the catch he took at square leg off Zaheer khan’s bowling to dismiss Grandomme. What I believe is, even if Coorey Anderson is fit today they should play Mathews so that they can have good all round balance.
Hyderabad has depended more on Warner and he has shown his class so far, scoring runs in every match. But Shikar Dhawan’s form is a bit of worry for them, so is Yuvi’s inconsistency. But in bowling Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has been outstanding and if continues to bowl well today it is going to be an exciting encounter. Hyderabad also included Mohd Nabi in the last match and with his colleague sensational Rashid Khan he did a good job. Today also they expect this pair to do well.
In yesterday’s match, Gujrat Lions lost again as Royal Challengers Bangalore played a good game of cricket. Chris Gayle was back to his real form as he hammered the Lions bowlers to all parts of the ground, whi8le the inform Kohli played yet another fine innings. Put into bat first RCB put up huge 213 on a beautiful batting wicket. When Gujrat chased they lost Smith early. Despite MeCulm’s brilliant innings and Ishant Kishan’s cameo knwoks towards the end Lions could not reach the target. Yazuvendra Chahal again was amonf the wickets, bowling tightly.
