TTD is organising a three-day conference on Pancharatra agama at the Asthana Mandapam of Sri Padmavati temple, Tiruchanoor from December 1-3
The eminent scholars from AP, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Puducherry will participate in the conference hosted jointly by the Akhila Bharata Bhagavad Shastra Vidwat Sammelan along with the Divya Prabandha Project of TTD.
The theme concept of the sammelan of the erudite pundits is focussed on the puja process, Natya, Shilpa, Vaidya, Jyotishya which form the foundation of Pancharatra Agama. The conference is also expected to highlight the issues of temple building and renovations and to find Vedic solutions to burning current topics and future problems.
As a part of the program, sessions will be held from morning 9am and 6 pm and Sri K Rajagopal Rao, Program Officer of TTD Dharmic Projects is supervising all arrangements and programs of the conference.
Laksha Bilvarchana Seva was performed religiously at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Thursday.
Special programs were organized in the temple on this occasion.
As part of this, Abhishekam, Alankaram and Archana were performed by waking up the Lord at 3 am with Suprabhatam. Laksha Bilvarchana Seva was held from 6 am to 12 am. In this, the deity was worshipped with one lakh bilva leaves.
In the evening, the idol of Sri Chandrasekhara Swami will be paraded through the streets.
