Now an 18-year-old entrepreneur in Gurgaon has come up with a new business venture that is set to break many sexual taboos in India. Sirhaan Seth’s SMS Contraceptive lets customers order products like condoms, emergency contraceptive pills, lubes, and pregnancy tests via just a phone call, WhatsApp and even Snapchat.
The service claims to be available to customers 24/7. Moreover, any order is deemed to be free of charge if the delivery time exceeds 30 minutes. It seems like these guys probably took notes from popular pizza places in town.
Although currently SMS Contraceptive only offers their services to residents of Gurgaon, there are plans that they will cater to all of Delhi-NCR in the next few months, according to local reports.
Who knows this can be replicated in other states also. After all it is for the welfare of the public in general. This is usage of technology in a postive direction.
