A youth from Jagityal by name Satyanarayana has written a letter to the district collector for the sake of beer. He mentioned the brand name as Kingfisher and said that the youth who like this brand is deprived of it and that the sellers are not getting it.
He wanted the collector to see that the Kingfisher popular brand was made available in the shops and bars so that the youth will get it .
He also quoted the rules and regulations regarding consumerism and opined that the district collector should look into the plight of the youth.
This is part of the Prajavani program where the collector has invited application for the complaints redressal in a speedy manner. The collector was surprised to note that someone has complained and was craving for the Kingfisher beer.
Satyanarayana wanted the collector to see that Kingfisher is made available in the liquor depots and also all the outlets in and around Jagityal.
The media was also surprised to note that the youth was writing to the district collector for beer. It has to be seen what action the collector would initiate on the youth.
