“Soon after the formation of Telangana State, the TRS Government has identified priorities of the State. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has given more importance to the welfare sector. The TRS leaders under the dynamic leadership of KCR have solved the power crisis.

With the help of the Mission Bageeratha the Government has resolved the drinking water crisis. The Government is now constructing projects for irrigation water. The Government has introduced TS iPass Act for industrial development.

Now the Telangana State has to ascend on one more step. That is going to the next level. For this, the Government has to enact good policies. We have enacted a new Panchayat Raj Act.

Similarly, the Government is enacting new Revenue and Municipal Acts. The drafts will be ready in a day or two it is reported.

The governance should be on the fast track without any corruption and in a very transparent manner,” the CM observed in a review meeting yesterday held at Pragathi Bhavan.

The CM Chandrasekhar Rao said the villages and towns in Telangana State should have a clean and green environment. The newly elected Sarpanches, MPTCs, ZPTCs, MPPs and ZP Chairpersons should involve themselves

in the progress and development of the villages. The collectors of the districts are being made responsible for the rural development in particular. Accountability is fixed on them for better results.
