Prabhakar Rao CMD/TSGENCO & TSTRANSCO hoisted the national flag on the occasion of Telangana Dashabdi Utsavalu Vidyuth Vijayothsavam Day at Vidyut Soudha today and informed that, under the visionary leadership of Honble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao Garu, TS Power utilities made huge investment of Rs.97,321 Crs during last 9 years and achieved tremendous progress in Generation, Transmission & Distribution Sectors.
Addressing the huge gathering of employees, CMD/TSGENCO & TSTRANSCO informed that, in due recognition of extra ordinary achievements during the last 9 years in electricity sector, as per the directions of Government, TSTRANSCO & TSGENCO celebrated Telangana Dashabdi Utsavalu Vidyuth Vijayothsavam Day in a grand way here at Vidyut Soudha.
In his key note address, CMD informed that, the Per Capita Electricity Consumption is an indicator that reflects the comprehensive progress of a state. It is our pride that, Telangana’s per capita electricity consumption has increased from 1196 units in 2013-14 to 2140 units in 2022-23, which is 70% more than the national average of 1255 units.
Addressing the gathering, CMD appealed to all electricity employees to rededicate themselves for providing quality, reliable and uninterrupted power supply to all categories of consumers. Discharging the assigned duties by extending the value added services to the electricity consumers is also a way to express our love & solidarity to the state.
The JMD/TSTRANSCO, Directors of TSTRANSCO & TSGENCO and all employees participated enthusiastically in Telangana Dashabdi Utsavalu Vidyuth Vijayothsavam Day held in a grand way at Vidyut Soudha. On this occasion, various cultural programmes have been conducted at Vidyut Soudha.
