CM Revanth for Judicial Inquiry

As suggested by the former Minister Jagdish Reddy we will order a judicial inquiry into the Power sector agreements done by the last Government said CM Revanth Reddy.

Former Minister Jagdish Reddy demanded that the issues and allegations about the power sector may be probed by a sitting Judge.

He was talking about the white paper submitted by the Power Minister and Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka here in the Assembly. Projects were being executed without calling for the tenders the CM said.

The facts and figures given by the last Government are not real he opined. The power sector was scanned and details were placed in front of the house he explained.

The Bhadradri power project was not completed in two years as challenged by KCR said the CM. The power agreements with the Chhattisgarh Government have to be probed he said.

The affairs of the Yadadri power project will also be probed the CM stated. The discoms are in deep trouble he explained. The CM said that the issues of Chhattisgarh, Bhadradro and Yadadri power projects will be probed by a Judicial inquiry he said.

Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy charged the then-power Minister Jagdish Reddy and former MLA were involved in the power scam. The Solar power was developed by the Private Sector and not the Government the CM opined.

So far 35000 crore has been spent on power projects and no power was generated so far he clarified. The 24 hour power supply was just a myth and not a reality he stated.

Jagdish Reddy expressed happiness on the order of the judicial enquiry.
