Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been meeting Ministers in Delhi for last two days. Wearing a sweater and shawl in red, KCR hopped from one place to other and requested for the funds and permission to various projects.
The main highlight of his request was about 6 Mini Airports across Telangana. He requested for clearances under a single window system. KCR also met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi last night and had discussions for about 30 minutes.
The Prime Minister gave a patient hearing and assured of all help for the development of Telangana. There was a discussion on politics also, but the details are not known.
The very fact that KCR is meeting the Prime Minister Modi after one year has a lot of significance attached to it. Today the third day KCR is scheduled to visit the site allocated by the Government for the construction of TRS Bhavan here in Delhi.
Getting the land in Delhi for the office space itself is a big achievement. The very fact that the PM met KCR for about half an hour means that it is like a win win situation for the BJP and TRS.
There are wild rumours in the political circles that the BJP and the TRS might share the Mayor post in GHMC for 2.5 years each. In politics everything is possible.
If KCR wants to buy peace with BJP, then this is possible. How the local BJP reacts to the arrangement has to be seen.
