Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will visit Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal and Karimnagar districts today to examine the damage caused to crops due to unseasonal rains and hail storms last week.
The Chief Minister will conduct aerial surveys in districts and also interact with the farmers to know the losses suffered by them.
He is likely to announce compensation for farmers after his tour. With the elections coming by the end of this year, KCR was already in the election mode and he was planning to visit the districts.
Now this is an opportunity to go to the farming community and give them all the confidence. Ab Ki Bar kishan ki sarkar is the slogan of his BRS party.
So there is every need for him and also the party functionaries to make a visit to the farmers in person and instill confidence in them for the future.
