The full dress rehearsals for the Telangana State Formation Day celebration were held at the Secretariat today. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari along with senior officials of Police and other departments visited the secretariat premises and took part in the parade. She also inspected the arrangements being made for the occasion.
The 1Onth celebrations of the Telangana state formation will begin from the New state secretariat where the CM KCR will lead from the front.
Chief Secretary informed that the Chief Minister will unfurl the national flag at 10.30 AM. Employees from various head offices will participate in the function.
She instructed the officials to make proper seating arrangements. There should be adequate police bundobust. Police should also ensure that proper traffic management is put in place so that the common people are not put to any inconvenience.
Addl DG Swati Lakra, Secretary R&B Srinivas Raju, Spl Commissioner I&PR Ashok Reddy, HMWSSB MD Danakishore, Addl Secretary Protocol Arvinder Singh, and other officials were present.
