Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will be addressing a public meeting here at Halia in Nalgonda district on 10nth.He has announced that all the lift irrigation schemes including Nellikallu in Devarakonda,Nagarjunasagar, Munugode, Kodad and Huzurnagar Assembly segments under the combined Nalgonda district would be constructed soon.
He will lay the foundation stone and then address the public here. There is also a byelection for Nagarjuna sagar seat and the CM might announce more welfare for the area.
The CM met with the combined Nalgonda district public representatives on Friday in Pragathi Bhavan here. Telangana State legislative Council Chairman Sri Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Ministers Sri Jagdeesh Reddy, MLAs, MLCs, ZP Chairpersons and other important public representatives attended the meeting.
A discussion took place on the irrigation sector in Nalgonda district. In this context, the CM said that under various projects Ayucut was covered, and to supply water to the remaining Ayucut, 8 to 9 Lift Irrigation Schemes along with Nellikallu would be constructed at a cost of Rs 3,000 Crore.
The CM decided to lay a foundation for the lift Irrigation Schemes in one place.The CM will lay the foundation stone for the Lift Irrigation Schemes on Feb 10 at 12.30 PM at Nellikallu and later at 2 PM he will address a TRS Party public meeting to be held at Halia.
