Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao left for Kolhapur in Maharashtra on Thursday morning to offer prayers to Sri Ambabai Mahalaxmi, the seventh of the eighteen Shakti Peethas.
CM KCR, who arrived in Kolhapur on a special flight with his family from Hyderabad arrived at the Sri Ambabai Mahalaxmi Temple in Kolhapur in the afternoon and was welcomed by the priests with temple honours.
CM KCR and their family members participated in the Alankar Pooja Of Karveer Nivasini Shree Ambabai Mahalaxmi. MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar, Namaste Telangana MD Divikonda Damodar Rao, TRS General Secretary Ravula Sravan Kumar and others accompanied CM.
The CM KCR is supposed to come back by this night it is learnt.
