Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao paid rich tributes to Jnanapeeth awardee and literary Icon Dr C Narayan Reddy who is Cingireddy Narayan Reddy also known as Cinare on his death anniversary here today.
KCR praised Dr Narayan Reddy for spreading the Telangana literary fragrance all over the world and putting Telugu poetry on a top pedestal.
The Chief Minister KCR described Dr Narayan Reddy as a pioneer who excelled as a poet, writer, researcher, educationist, film lyricist, and inimitable style used Telangana idiom and continued his literary pursuits with creative power.
KCR also hailed Cinare as the one who got Jnanapeeth award to the Telangana society.
The Chief Minister observed that Cinare understood the human-nature philosophy threadbare and has become a symbol for the Ganga Jamuna Tehjeeb with his innovative creation of Telugu Ghazals with a fusion of Telugu and Deccani Urdu.
The efforts put in by Narayan Reddy to put Telugu and Telangana on the World literary Map is eternal. As long as language and literature exist, Care will continue to live, KCR said.
