AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy today attended the CBI special court in Hyderabad. Along with Jagan, Vijay Sai Reddy and former Minister Dharmana Prasad and IAS officer Sri Lakshmi also attended the CBI court.
Jagan has been evading the cases against him stating that he was busy as the Chief Minister in AP and wanted his Advocate to attend the case. But the Court said that Jagan must attend the case even if he is the Chief Minister of the State.
Jagan who was in jail earlier was out on Bail, and now facing the charges of corruption and ED cases against him. A special CBI court is looking into the issue of corruption and ED cases against Jagan.
Meanwhile, there are apprehensions that Jagan might be going back to jail in these cases. There are reports that sister Sharmila and mother Vijayamma are being groomed to take his position in case Jagan goes to jail.
There are also reports that Vijay Sai Reddy is projecting himself as the alternative to Jaganmohan Reddy. Jagan who has come to Hyderabad in a special flight is expected to return back to Vijaywada by a special fight.
The state has to spend lakhs of rupees for getting Jagan to the CBI special court to attend the cases. This is the first time Jagan is attending the court after becoming the chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
