While appreciating the speed of the central Government in clearing the EBC bill in parliament, K Kavitha the Nizamabad MP today said that the Government under Modi must clear the Mahila reservation bill at the earliest possible.The 33 per cent reservation bill for the women has been pending and getting postponed from time to time due to various reasons.
Now Kavitha has suggested that the Modi government must take keen interest and clear the bill with a jet speed as they did for the EBC reservations. Passing the Mahila bill indicate that the country is truly progressive she said. We need more of a political will for getting the Mahila reservation bill passed she opined.
The TRS has supported the EBC Bill in the parliament.
If the WomenReservation Bill could be passed with the same speed with which the bill on economically weaker sections/general category reservations has been passed in both the houses, our country would be truly progressive. We need more political will behind Reservation for Women.
