The Babai -Abbais in the Telugu film industry are now competing for the release of their films . It was NTR and Balaiah from the beginning clashing at the box office with films. The whole idea is to release one film after the other so that there will be no problem for the business and one film will not make any dent into other film.
Now it is Charan and Pawan from the mega compound. It is like clash within the family with their own movies and the release dates.
This is the latest pair trying to release the movies for Sankanthi and competing with each other. It is reported that the Mega fans are unable to digest that Pawan Kalyan’s film with Trivikram is likely to release for Sankranthi.
There is also some confusion about the Paisa Vasool of Balaiah and also Jai lava Kusa of NTR. But the Nandamuri fans are confident that the Balaiah movie will be postponed as its director Puri is in trouble with the police over the drugs abuse allegations.
The makers of Cherry Ram Charan’s movie Rangasthalam 1985 announced that their film is releasing for Sankranthi. Fans don’t want to see Babaai and Abbayi movies clashing at the box office at the same time.
Sankranthi is the best time for #PSPK25 as buyers have reportedly invested Rs. 120 crore on it. The makers cannot afford to release it during off season as it will dampen the chances of recovery.
The talk is that Rangasthalam release will be advanced to December third week Christmas vacation if #PSPK25 is confirmed for Sankranthi. In any case there would be a gap of at least three to four weeks between both the films.
Ram Charan is not willing to clash with his Babaai’s film as it would affect the box office prospects of both the movies. At the same time NTR is also in no mood to clash with Babai at all. He respects Balaiah like anything.
Lets hope the films of Babai and abbais will not be released at the same time.
