Losing faith in the judiciary is a danger to the survival of democracy stated the CJI Ramana in a meeting at Vijayawada yesterday. The CJI also added that the CM Jagan Mohan Reddy promised that he will cooperate with the judiciary in the state.
These two statements indicate that the CJI is suggesting the leaders of YSRC and also the CM Jagan have faith in Judiciary.
This seems to be an indirect jibe against how Jagan and YSR Congress leaders frequently make comments against the judiciary and Ramana himself.
The CJI stated that he was “Happy to see CM Jagan speak in Telugu. This suggests Jagan not to encourage English at the cost of Telugu in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
I hope you will help in the completion of building constructions in Amaravati,” the CJI suggested. This is to retain Amaravathi as the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
These statements are targeting Jagan’s obsession with removing Telugu medium from schools and decimating Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
This is a clear-cut indication to Jagan that he must construct and complete Amaravathi, must not remove Telugu and also appreciate the Judiciary to the extent possible.
We can say that this is an indirect snub to Jagan Mohan Reddy by the CJI who will retire in a short span of time.
