Chief Justice of India Ramana is under the scanner of the BJP. The CJI might be considered by the Narendra Modi government for the post of President of India soon after his retirement.

Incidentally, the present President of India Ramnath Kovind is also retiring this August. Apart from Venkaiah Naidu the Vice President, the CJI is also being considered for the post of the President it is reported.

Ramana will be 65 during his retirement. In the USA the Judges retire by their death it is learnt. Until then they will be in service it is reported. Ramana considers the age of retirement in India too early.

He is ready with all the energy to go back to his village for doing agriculture. Governor Murmu is also under consideration for one of the top posts. It could be VP or President.

The final decision will be taken once the RSS gives a green signal to the ideas of the PM Modi and HM Shah. Who knows Modi might become the President of India after his retirement from active politics.

Right now the scouting for the right people is going on in the country for the top posts.
