Siddartha Luther the popular Lawyer today failed in getting the time of the CJI.
The Supreme Court refused urgent mentioning of the petition filed by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Chandrababu Naidu seeking to quash the FIR filed by the Andhra Pradesh CID in connection with the skill development scam case and also challenging his remand in the case.
Chief Justice DY Chandrachud refused out-of-turn mentioning petition and asked his lawyer Siddharth Luthra to mention the matter tomorrow. The High Court also is dilly-dallying the case.
Chandrababu told Lady Judge that he was being punished for no reason. He clarified that he was in no way involved in the case. But the judge was not convinced.
She tried to convince Babu that he was under Judicial custody and not under police custody.
Babu in Rajahmundry Jail compound for the last 17 days. 11 days of remand are still remaining. New cases and PT warrants are being filed against him by the AP CID police.
While Babu is trying to wriggle out of the case, the AP police are trying to fix him in one way or the other.
