The Supreme Court on Friday stayed the interim relief granted to Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy, who is being questioned in the YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case.

The CJI opined that the High Court orders were not acceptable. The judge said that the orders were atrocious.

The apex court stayed the order of the Telangana High Court and also directed that Avinash Reddy should not be arrested until Monday which is the 24th of this month.

The final hearing has been adjourned until Monday.

The Supreme Court issued notices to Avinash Reddy and stayed the judgment of the High Court. Earlier, YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter, YS Sunitha Reddy, had challenged the Telangana High Court’s decision not to arrest Avinash Reddy.

But as per Supreme Court directions that case has to be closed by the end of this month. So there is a chance that the case will get the right direction on Monday.

There is a talk that YSRC leaders and advisors are talking to some top legal luminaries in Delhi. They feel that the arrest of Avinash Reddy the MP has become almost certain now.

This is a very high-profile case with the involvement of YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s relatives who are also related to CM Jagan.
