Chief Justice of India Ramana who was in a Government function here in Vijayawada along with CM Jagan did not feed the cake to Jagan. CJI promptly was involved in cutting the cake but did not feed it to the CM Jagan.
He just gave a scoop of cake in a spoon to Jagan and not even looked at him. He was looking the other side and Jagan took the spoon with cake from CJI and at it on his own.
In fact, both of them should have exchanged pleasantries by feeding the cake to each other. CJI in a different function was seen feeding the cake the same morning here in Vijaywada to a number of guests with the spoons.
After that when it was the turn of Jagan, the CJI just gave a scoop of cake to Jagan and Jagan unhappily ate it the same on his own. He even did not feed the CJI.
The function just happened as it was part of protocol on Christmas day. It was clear that Jagan and his Government could not lure the CJI. But the wife of CJI was seen moving close with Bharati the wife of CM Jagan.
A clear gap was clearly evident between Jagan and the CJI Ramana. Earlier Jagan tried to block the selection of justice Ramana as the CJI.
