Chief Justice of India Deepak Misra today cautioned the media that they should not think that they can do away with whatever they want. The CJI was dealing with the case of BJP Chief Amit Shahs son Jay and his companies.
A story was aired by the News Channel wire saying that BJP chiefs Sons companies prospered with the help of BJP Government. It meant that the Govenment was misused by Amit Shahs son for his prosperity.
Amis son has filed a defamation on the Channel stating that the Wire has defamed by airing cock and bull stories. In this context the CJI warned the electronic media and also other media to be in limits and give the stories with facts and figures.
No kite flying stories and cock and bull stories he cautioned. You cannot do what ever you want and get away with it he cautioned.
