After closing the schools and educational institutions, there is a rumour in the state of Telangana that the Cinema Theatres will also be closed. When the Cine Industry is recovering from the Covid conditions, the rumours are bothering the producers and also the theatre owners.
Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has clarified that the cinema theatres will run as it is and the Covid conditions will have to followed strictly he said.
As of now there is no decision to close the theatres he clarified. The theatres now are being run with Covid rules and regulations and it is costing them more in terms of maintenance.
In some theatres the ticket rate has been hiked. But cone goers are going to the theatres in large numbers. They are enjoying the movies in theatres.
Taking all this into consideration the theatres will not be closed. The CM of Telangana and also Andhra have given many sops to the theatre owners and also the producers for coming out of the red.
The power bills to some extent have also been waived in the state of Telangana.
