Director Meher Ramesh is known as a lavish director. He has got a few hits and now he is doing a remake with Chiranjeevi. Chiranjeevi is related to Meher Ramesh.
Now he is doing a remake of Ajith for Chiranjeevi. It is reported that Chiranjeevi has called Meher and made him understand the budget and also schedules, apart from the lavish sets.
He wants the movie to be made under the budget proposed by the producer and should not exceed the limits. The upper limit given to the director Meher is around 25 crores it is reported.
Meher earlier has given a hit to Prabhas and a dud to junior NTR. He started his career as an actor with Mahesh babu. later he turned into an assistant director and now is a director with no work.
Taking this into account Meher has given the remake responsibility to Meher Ramesh. In fact, Meher suggested the movie to Chiranjeevi which is a safe bet. It looks like Chiranjeevi is following the footsteps of Venkatesh in terms of remakes.
