Like our Venky mama who thrives on making remakes, Chiranjeevi the megastar is also following in his footsteps these days. Lucifer and Vedalam are the two movies that Chiranjeevi is redoing for the Tollywood audience.
Lucifer of Mohanlalis being made as Godfather and now Vedalam is being remade by director Meher Ramesh. Meher has been sitting idle for the last 8 years and now Chiru has given him an opportunity.
So two remakes from Chiranjeevi. Ajith was the hero for Vedalam which was a super hit. Now Chiranjeevi is making the movies of Mohanlal and Ajith in Telugu.
Both the movies will be remade with a tight budget and in a short span of time. Right now Chiranjeevi is busy with the launch of Acharya which was directed by Koratala Shiva.
It could be for this Dasara. We have to see how the Telugu audience would react to the remakes being done by the megastar Chiranjeevi. Chirus brother Pawan Kalyan is also doing a remake of Ayyapanum Koshinyam of Mohanlal.
