The US President Donald Trump has asserted that the actual number of deaths were much more than the official Chinese death toll figures, which he said were “unrealistic”.
He was addressing the media on Corona and the death toll in America.
“You know it, I know it and they know it, but you don”t want to report it. Why?” he asked. “You will have to explain that. Someday I will explain it, he said to the media.
He also highlighted that on a per-capita basis, the mortality rate in the US was far lower than other nations of Western Europe. He also did not agree with the argument that USA took the decision of lockdown very later when compared to India.
He opined that one death does not warrant for lockdown and that the lockdown cannot be done so easily without proper thinking over the issue.
