The prices of essential commodities have gone up like anything in the Telugu states. They are blaming it on the Russia -Ukraine war. No one is selling the essential commodities at MRP.

If the oil is at Rs 170 per litre they are taking around Rs200 saying that it is the old price and now the rates have gone up. Vijaya outlet at the RTC Crossroads is having where people are buying the old in large quantity and stacking it.

The petrol and diesel rates are already High. The vegetable rates are also going up. But you are getting tomatoes and onions at a reasonable rate.

The mutton is already costing very high around Rs 800 and now the chicken rate is around Rs 300 per Kg. There is a talk that the liquor rates will also go up in the name of war.

Most of them are going for Vegetarian food for parties as it is costing less when compared to non-veg food. Many of the hotels are dishing out less quantity of food to avoid rising of the rates in the menu.

A lot of hoarding is taking place for the essential commodities. All the flours and pulses are costing high. The tiffin centres have reduced the size of items like Idli, Vada and Dosa.

The traffic for the mass transport that is the RTC buses is going up slowly. The rates were not increased in the budget but the rates have gone up due to the talks of war.

Sweet oil and other fuels are already burning the pocket of the common man. The central and state Government are giving rations at reasonable rates to the eligible poor people.

The rich people have reserves but the middle-class people are neither here nor there.
