TAUK – Telangana Association of United Kingdom London “Chenetha Bathukamma” poster was launched by TRS Ex-MP Smt. Kalvakuntla Kavitha today at Hyderabad.
She appreciated the initiative to support the Handloom weavers by celebrating the bathukamma festival as “Chenetha Bathukamma”, also the efforts of TAUK in promoting Telanana culture on global platform and extended his best wishes for the upcoming Bahtukamma event at London.
TAUK representatives briefed EX-MP kavitha, how the weaver’s community is being benefited by organising Chenetha Bathukamma from the past few years.
Kavitha also appealed the NRIs living in UK support the cause and attend the event.
TAUK Founder Anil Kurmachalam and President Pavithra Reddy Kandi spoke to media and said, On behalf of TAUK we thank smt. Kavitha for her continuous support & encouragement to TAUK since its inception.
It’s not just a poster launch with her but with her guidance we do our best to promote our culture globally, also appealed the community in UK to attend the event planned on September 28th starts from 4pm at West London – Isleworth & Syon School and encourage the efforts to promote the Indian culture on foreign land.
