Sid Sriram is a very good singer. But the real issue is with his pronunciation and not knowing Telugu properly. He just follows the music director and sings the song. He does not know the real meaning of the lyrics in Telugu and that has become a big issue.
Not only Sid there are so many singers who do not know Telugu and pronounce the lyrics according to the music and not knowing the music. Sid has sung some songs in many films which have become popular overnight. He was identified by Rahman saab on youtube.
After that, there was no looking back. But Kalyan Malik the music director has found fault with the pronunciation of the Telugu lyrics by Sid Sriram. Samaja Vara Gamana was a song which became very popular overnight and it was recorded by Thaman.
But as posted by Kalyan some of the lyrics were sung in a wrong fashion by the singer and the responsibility lies with the music director. The Singer does not know Telugu language and the mistake cannot be attributed to him.
The director of Movie Trivikram Srinivas has not noticed it and the hero Allu Arjun has not bothered about it. Even in Sarainodu songs, the Telugu lyrics were not pronounced properly by the singers. They just followed the music pattern.
So it would be wise on the part of the music directors and also the Telugu directors to check the songs sung by singers of other languages before they are released into the market. They may sound good, but there could be some mistakes.
