All arrangements are in place for the week-long Chaturveda Havanam which is organised by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam for the first time in the temple city of Tirupati which commences today.
Seeking the divine intervention for the well-being of the entire humanity TTD is conducting this unique maiden Homam in its Parade Grounds in Tirupati from June 29 to July 5.
The ritual event will begin with Kalasa Sthapana, Kalasa Avahana at 8am on Thursday. 32 Ritwiks will be reciting Mantras from four Vedas. In the evening devotional cultural programs have been arranged by the faculty and students of SV College of Music and Dance on all these days besides Annamacharya, HDPP and Dasa Sahitya Projects.
Seating arrangements with shades have been made for the devotees to participate in this programme. The entire stage is arranged with colourful flowers and illumination.
TTD-run BIRRD hospital is organising a mega orthopaedic doctors Summit titled ”Operative Orthoplasty” from June 30 -July 2.
All arrangements are being made for the Summit in which over 200 renowned orthopaedic surgeons from all over India will participate heralding the development stride over 4 years at the BIRRD hospital.
He said TTD has set up CT scans, X-Ray machines, blood bank, online treatment bases on mobile SMS etc. for OP services at BIRRD hospital on par with corporate hospitals to facilitate the patients at affordable cost.
The three-day summit is aimed at highlighting the state of technology and medical equipment available at BIRRD. The top 20 Ortho experts will conduct live surgeries during the three-day summit.
