Giving water to the drought-hit families is the story of Rangasthalam movie in the village backdrop.
Charan as Chittibabu who is deaf fights against the landlords in the village for the sake of people and becomes a hero. It is a regular Drama but Sukumar has made it worthy of watching. Some scenes are very intense and the climax is superb.
Samantha, as usual, has done justice for the role and the chemistry with Cherry is good. Adi , Jagapathi babu, Prakash Raj have done well and the movie looks fresh even though the story is the same as new wine in the old bottle. The treatment of the story is completely different.
The budget spent is about 60 crore and the movie has been crafted and decorated very well on the sets in Jubilee hills depicting the Godavari and other things. Music by Devisri Prasad is also good. Some comedy scenes were exceptionally directed very well by Sukumar.
Ramcharan has improved his acting abilities under Sukumar and there is no doubt about it. Anasuya as Rangamatta leaves her mark in the movie. Her attire and slang are apt and good. Sukumar as a director gets all the credit.
The movie is worth watching.
