Chandrabhanj dev hails GIC

Kakatiya Dynasty 22nd descendant Kamal Chandra Banj Dev hailed Green India Challenge programme launched by the MP, Joginapally Santosh Kumar and said that this programme will remain in the history.

Speaking on the occasion of ‘Kakatiya Vaibhava Sapthaham” programme at Warangal on Thursday he said the Green India Challenge programme is a novel one and it will continue in future also, “ It would be not an activity and hope this will become a part of one’s routine life in near future, such an interesting and useful programme was launched by the Santosh Kumar,” he said.

He further wanted every citizen of the country to take part in this programme and will undoubtedly give fruitful results for the future generations, adding this he also congratulated Chief Minsiter K Chandra shekar Rao for taking up welfare programmes such as Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya and many more, Similar programmes were also taken up by the early days by the Kakatiya’s, “ Our forefathers had given utmost priority to nature and instrumental in constructing link- chain village tanks across the State,” he recalled.

Minister for Excise and Prohibition Srinivas Goud and Minister for Child Welfare Satyawathi Rathod said the Green India Challenge programme was brain child of Santhosh Kumar and started this programme differently without expecting anything neither from government nor from any others, he wanted every one only to take part in this programme. The Minsters were felt happy for making them part of this programme, government whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and Mayor Gundu Sudha Rani also participated in the programme.

Later in a press release MP, Joginapally Santhosh Kumar thanked Kamal Chandra Banj Dev and mentioned that Chandra Banj’s initiative has motivated many persons to take part in Green India Challenge programme and his love and affection towards the Telangana State is remarkable.
