While the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekahra Rao is jubilant about the survey conducted by a TV channel for getting absolute majority and agreement on his rule from the people of Telangana, it looks like the other Chief Minister of AP Chandra Babu Naidu in the other Telugu speaking state is testing his time and the power of cycle, if it can take him up to the next elections.
Surprising everyone, Chandrababu Naidu has gone out on a late night bicycle ride at his residence in Velagapudi. Its no ordinary one but a specially designed electrical bicycle equipped with a motor for propulsion. Cycle enthusiast G Raja is behind this unique creation.
Known to be as a man who always encouraged innovation, Chandrababu Naidu himself has gone for a ride to find out the bicycle’s pros n cons. Whatever the reason could be, TDP Supporters would cherish this rare moment.
This is not the first time that Babu used a cycle, earlier also during the party meetings and also Mahanaadus he rode a cycle. But they were also desi ones and the regular rides. The byke that he used last night is a motor driven one and used to climb the uphills easily it is reported.
Initially Babu had some difficulty in gaining the momentum, but later he could pick it up very easily. These days he was riding a bullet also it is reported. He chose the later night for his cycle ride because it will not create commotion and media attention. But some how the photo reached the media.
The regular security police and the black cat commandos had to run with the Chandrababu to keep pace with him and guard him.
Earlier his father inlaw and the late chief Minister NT Rama Rao also used cycle one or two times during election rallies as it is the symbol of the TDP.
