Venkaiah said that he will not be a BJP person from today after filing nomination to the post of Vice President. He also said that he was not interested in continuing in the active politics. It is rumored that his daughter will contest in the next elections depending on the situation.
Was Venkaiah too much involved in the AP politics . Political circles say yes. He was in the lime light for every function held in AP. Was he more attached to the AP politics and also Chandrababu Naidu. The Delhi walas say yes. He was also close to the CM of Telangana. Has this costed him his political future. Yes it could be. The Delhi people could not digest his growing popularity in the Telugu politics and might have thought it fit to keep him quite by elevating him to the Vice President post.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was to attend the nomination Ceremony of Venkaiah for the Vice-President Post. Naidu’s Peshi informed the Ministers that the Cabinet Meeting schedule was canceled as result. But then, after a few hours, they were once again informed that the meeting will go on as per the plan.
Chandrababu Naidu decided to skip the ceremony and the reason for that is not known. He has not been invited and he has been suggested not to visit Delhi for this purpose. Some TDP MPs are among those who were with Venkaiah at the nomination.
Venkaiah Naidu resigned as the Union minister last night and the additional charge of Ministry of Urban Development given to Narendra Tomar, I&B to Smriti Irani. Venkaiah Naidu Naidu will take on Gopalkrishna Gandhi, the Congress’ pick for the post. The election to the post of Vice-President will be held on August 5.
People say that Modi and Shah wanted Venkaiah to be kept calm and this is what they did to him. He will be with BJP, but will not be active in politics. He is happy and unhappy too.. People said Venkaiah now might have thought it fit to keep Chandrababu away from the nomination. One is to be way from the politics and the other is to stall Babu from taking the credit of a king maker so on and so forth.
