Is Chandrababu stooping low to conquer? If he aligns with congress it is nothing but like digging his own grave in politics said several TDP leaders. Some TDP leaders are prepared to resign from the party if babu joins the Congress in the coming elections.
Vice President Venkaiah Naidu who was in AP to attend a private function said that first, he could not digest the news that he was chosen for the Vice-president post cutting him from the public and blocking his liberty and the public life. Now he is equally taken aback to know that Chandrababu was joining hands with the Congress the arch-rival of the TDP and NTR.
How can the party which was born to close the Congress party join the hands with the same party he questioned? The people will not agree and they will not pardon Chandrababu he stated.
Venkaiah also recalled his association with NTR and the war that he waged for reinstating the NTR government which was trounced by the Congress then by joining hands with Nadendla Bhaskar Rao. TDP means anti-congress. How can they come together in name of elections, this is against the spirit of the democracy he opined.
But the political circles are busy with the talk that the Congress and the TDP would join hands in the Telugu states. They are of the opinion that Babu and Congress were trying for a result like that of Karnataka where they trounced the BJP even after getting the majority.
