A new study has found that drinking a cup of tea at least once a day can reduce the risk of Glaucoma in a person.
Glaucoma is an eye disease which damages the optic nerve and causes vision loss.
It damages the optic nerve by forming a fluid pressure inside the eye.
Currently, Glaucoma effects 57.5 million people worldwide, as per reports, and the count is expected to surge to 65.5 million by 2020.
The research, published online in the British Journal of Ophthalmology, compared people who consumed tea and those who did not, and noted that those who consumed tea at least once a day had the lower risk of Glaucoma than those who did not drink tea.
