After winning Dubbaka, the BJP Central leadership has started concentrating on Telangana. It has appointed a National General secretary for overseeing the Municipal elections here in Telangana.
4 more in-charges have also been appointed drawing from different states. Perhaps this is the first time that such an arrangement has been done by the central leadership.
Bhoopenar Yadav will be supervising the things here. Apart from Dr Laxman, Kishan Reddy , Vivek and Garikapati , leaders from other states will also work for the success of the BJP here in Telangana.
The TRS cannot afford to take the BJP lightly in this election. The floods have caused severe damage to the city and that makes all the difference.
The failure in distributing the flood relief also makes the difference to the TRS.The reduction in property Tax might get converted into votes for the TRS.
It has to be seen if the MIM votes would go to the TRS this time. The MIM is being exposed as the opportunist party who would join hand for the sake of power.
This time we can say that it is not easy for the TRS in the Municipal elections. The BJP is taking the MLC elections also seriously. The newly elected MLA Ragunandan will be used for campaigning by the BJP.
