Governor of Telangana Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, has hoisted the National Flag on the historic Main House, the official residence of hon’ble Governor in Raj Bhavan premises as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (Har Ghar Tiranga), here, on Saturday.
Later, she took the guard of honour and extended her wishes to the Raj Bhavan officers, staff, police, and security personnel on the occasion.
The Governor also personally distributed sweets to the staff members.
Advisors to Governor APVN Sarma and AK Mohanty, Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan and other senior officials and staff members were present.
Tiranga Rally:
The Governor participated in the Tiranga rally of 150 meters long National Flag, organized by Indian Red Cross Society, at Raj Bhavan, today.
The rally was taken out as a part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav’.
Pylon Inauguration:
The Governor inaugurated the Commemorative Pylon of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” marking the 75 years of Independence, at Raj Bhavan Main Entrance Gate, Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad, today.
