IGNITING MINDS WALK FOR WATER, presented by Singareni Collieries Company Limited, proudly announces the successful completion of its 5-kilometer walk event held in celebration of Doctors Day. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 doctors from reputed hospitals, alongside NGOs, environmentalists, and other celebrities supporting this noble cause.
The event commenced with a vibrant 5-kilometer walk, promoting the importance of rainwater harvesting and environmental sustainability. Participants carried banners and placards to raise awareness about water conservation, highlighting the interconnectedness of health, environment, and sustainable practices.
In addition to the walk, insightful discussions were held on the benefits and implementation of rainwater harvesting, emphasizing its role in conserving water resources, reducing flooding and erosion, improving water quality, saving energy, and promoting sustainability and self-sufficiency.
