CC Police arrests Cyber Stalker

A “Cyber Stalker” by name M. Raghavender, R/o.Kandada, Chevella Mandal was arrested by Cyber Crime Police, Cyberabad for posting obscene photographs & videos of a married woman who is a resident of Shankerpally, R.R Dist in Social Media.

Facts of the case are that on 22.1.2019 received a complaint from a lady who is a resident of Shankerpally Village, R.R Dist that she is using a FB account for a long time. She noticed that someone has uploaded nude photographs & videos in her FBs without her knowledge and the person who has uploaded photos and videos is blackmailing and threatening her. Hence, she requested for taking necessary action. Basing on the above complaint registered a case and investigated into.

During the course of the investigation, based on the evidence collected the accused is identified as M.Raghavender S/o.M.Jangaiah, age 23 yrs, Occ: Photographer, R/o.H.No.4-70, Narayanadasguda, Chevella Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

On apprehending the accused, he admitted his guilt of uploading the photographs and videography in the FB account of the complainant. Further, he threatened and blackmailed the victim continuously and chatted with her.

Earlier as the husband of the victim, warned the accused of his acts, he bored a grudge and in order to take revenge, he posted the obscene photos and videos of the victim in the victim’s Facebook page with an intention to defame her. The arrested person was remanded to judicial remand on 28.01.2019.

The case is investigating by Inspector of Police, Sri S.Ravinder under the guidance of ACP Sri Ch.Y.Srinivas Kumar, Cyber Crimes and under the supervision of Dr Smt.G.Janaki Sharmila, DCP, Crimes, Cyberabad.
